Yesterday, 199 trucks carrying aid entered the Gaza Strip via Kerem Shalom and Zikim, including 41 from the WFP, 44 for the private sector, 29 from UNICEF, and 20 from the Egyptian Red Crescent. Five fuel tankers also entered. An additional 100 food parcels were airdropped.
A total of 247 trucks’ worth of aid were collected for distribution—212 by the UN and international NGOs, with the equivalent of two truckloads delivered via airdrops. Meanwhile, 610 trucks remain awaiting collection by the UN and NGOs.
